United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Director, Portfolio & Liquidity Management, Global Markets to lead corporate fixed income portfolios across investment-grade and EM credit strategies.

The role focuses on risk-adjusted returns through active portfolio construction, credit selection, sector allocation, and liquidity optimization, while adhering to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or related field.
• CFA charterholder or progress toward CFA preferred.
• 7–10 years in corporate bond investing or fixed income portfolio management.
• Track record of managing corporate bond portfolios with solid performance.
• Strong knowledge of global credit markets and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate bond portfolios within objectives, mandates and risk limits.
• Develop investment strategies based on macro, market, sector and issuer views.
• Construct portfolios, select securities, manage duration and yield curves.
• Assess issuer creditworthiness and identify relative value opportunities.
• Monitor performance, risk exposures and compliance with guidelines.
• Identify opportunities across investment-grade and emerging market bonds.
• Present strategies and portfolio outlooks to senior management.
• Oversee liquidity, conduct stress testing and optimize buffers.
