Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced professional to plan, manage and deliver digital banking projects in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate across the Digital Platform Center and other departments to ensure timely execution and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong English and Putonghua communication skills, a solid background in banking technology, and the ability to lead project teams from planning to delivery.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in digital platform development or project management.
• 3 years hands-on experience in internet and mobile banking development and operation.
• Strong banking sense with analytical and independent working capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mobile banking/internet banking projects to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Develop project timelines, set key objectives, formulate contingency strategies, and ensure smooth project progression.
• Maintain effective communication with all teams within the Digital Platform Center and relevant departments, clearly explain project details to stakeholders, exchange feedback, and foster collaborative relationships.
• Monitor project progress, regularly report updates to supervisors and management.
• Follow up on implemented projects, provide improvement recommendations for optimization.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance teamwork and professional development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to propose innovative suggestions for projects

Requirements

• Degree holder
• 6 years’ experience in digital platform development or project management, including 3 years’ hands-on experience in internet and mobile banking development and operation
• Strong banking sense and self-motivated with good analytical and project management skills and be able to work independently
• Good understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice
• Good communication and writing skills in Chinese and English, fluent in English and Putonghua
• Excellent inter-personal skill
• A good team player with creative mind
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Digital Banking Manager or Deputy Digital Banking Manager
