Job summary

The Career Works Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Data Application SME to bridge business vision with engineering. You will lead end-to-end design of the Big Data Tag Factory, transforming complex datasets into actionable business assets.

You will drive advanced execution across marketing automation, CRM analytics, and regulatory reporting, resolving bottlenecks, reducing vendor reliance, and upskilling data delivery and compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Product Owner in data-heavy environments.
• Proven track record launching enterprise data products, Big Data tag architectures, CRM systems, or marketing automation tools.
• Banking/Financial Services/FinTech or e-commerce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and requirement analysis for the Big Data Tag/Label Factory.
• Translate data insights into business tags, personas, and behavioral profiles for downstream teams.
• Translate marketing strategies into functional specs for automation platforms.
• Define audience segmentation mechanics and event-driven triggers for campaigns.
• Analyze customer data lifecycles to uncover insights on retention, churn, and engagement.
• Collaborate with CRM owners to maximize CLV via data-driven triggers and journeys.
• Coordinate with legal/compliance to document data definitions and KPIs.
• Ensure data pipelines and dashboards meet governance and regulatory standards.
• Act as Data Translator across business units, MarTech, Data Engineering, and vendors.
• Create BRD, User Stories, and Functional Specs; support UAT and end-to-end delivery.
