Job summary

Our client is seeking an AI & Data Specialist to join a transformation-focused team driving innovation across manufacturing, operations, and supply chain functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining business process improvement, automation, data analytics, and AI technologies to deliver measurable operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, workflows, and improvement opportunities.

Conduct process reviews and identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation and data-driven solutions.

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable technical initiatives.

Automation & Digital Transformation

Design and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy.

Work closely with technology teams to integrate automation tools with existing business systems and platforms.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of automation initiatives through defined KPIs and performance metrics.

AI, Data Analytics & Solution Development

Develop and deploy AI and machine learning solutions to support operational and business objectives.

Design and maintain data pipelines, analytical models, reports, and dashboards that enable informed decision-making.

Evaluate, monitor, and continuously improve AI models and analytical solutions to ensure optimal performance and business value.

Explore emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for practical application within the organisation.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Around 2 to 4 years of experience in data analytics, AI, machine learning, automation, or related technology fields.

Prior exposure to manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, retail, or operational environments would be advantageous.

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis, modelling, and automation.

Familiarity with machine learning tools and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.

Experience with AI applications, workflow automation, computer vision, OCR, document intelligence, or Generative AI solutions.

Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, data management, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

Knowledge of enterprise platforms, ERP systems, or operational technologies is a plus.
