Job summary

APJ Software (Hong Kong) Company Limited seeks an AI Applications IT Specialist to bridge R&D and manufacturing with data-driven AI solutions. You will connect lab data, plant data and AI tools to drive measurable operational value in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Master’s level in a relevant field and 3+ years in industrial AI or data analytics, with strong Python or R and ML framework experience. On-site Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Materials Informatics/Chemoinformatics, Automation, or interdisciplinary field.
• 3+ years of applied IT support, data analytics or AI delivery in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong Python or R and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and enable AI tools to help R&D teams search literature and support formulation design.
• Create data-capture pipelines and ML models for TiO2 processing to predict key parameters.
• Develop AI-enabled early-warning models from production history for predictive maintenance.
• Integrate R&D and production data to build a unified knowledge base.
• Deliver practical AI training including prompts and automation scripts to engineers.
