Job summary

Turner & Townsend Limited is seeking a Senior/Quantity Surveyor in Hong Kong to manage cost control and quality objectives on large projects. You will lead cost management from pre-contract to post-contract stages, including estimating, cost planning, tendering, and procurement, while ensuring client objectives are met through effective cost services.

The role requires a strong background in quantity surveying, Cost-X, and potential chartership, with a focus on delivering value and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Chartership in MHKIS is preferable.
• Strong understanding of quantity surveying tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Manages core cost management functions for construction projects.
• Develops and presents final cost plans to clients.
• Handles estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning.
• Oversees tendering, procurement, and contract documentation.
• Supports change control and post-contract cost variances.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying/Engineering

Master’s degree (preferred)

Chartership in MHKIS (preferred)

Cost management and construction project knowledge

Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent
