Job summary

CPJobs International is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager for a Hong Kong property development project. You will formulate comprehensive cost plans and budgets, provide accurate construction cost estimation, and oversee procurement and consultant/contractor appointments with 10–15 years of relevant experience and MRICS or MHKIS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying or equivalent.
• MHKIS or MRICS is a must.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in property development, consultancy or main contractor.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive budget and cost plan for the property development project, ensuring accurate estimation and management of construction cost.
• Participate in the selection and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Manage the procurement process for supplies and subletting of contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards are met.
• Conduct detailed estimation and analysis of construction costs for land bids, subcontracting, variation works, and maintenance projects.
• Responsible for post-contract administration, including measurement of work, verifying interim payments and final account settlements.
