Job summary

Turner & Townsend Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, or Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to deliver cost management across construction projects with a particular focus on MEP works. You will support or lead cost management from feasibility through procurement, construction and close-out, ensuring cost control, governance and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in quantity surveying and cost management on construction projects; varying levels welcome.
• Experience in cost planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration, change management, final account settlement.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and building services installations.
• MEP quantity surveying experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost management services across construction projects with a focus on MEP works.
• Support or lead cost management activities from feasibility through procurement, construction and close-out.
• Manage project deliverables, engage with clients and stakeholders, and support business growth.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports.
• Manage estimating and cost planning, including cost plan ownership and presentation.
• Oversee procurement processes and post-contract cost control, including variations and change management.
• Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
• Lead Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing exercises and negotiate final accounts with contractors.
