Job summary

Turner & Townsend Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior / Quantity Surveyor (Private Sector) to provide professional quantity surveying services for cost monitoring, cost control, tendering, procurement and contract administration on large-scale residential projects.

Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying, 3–5 years of related experience, and a valid MHKIS (QS). Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua is preferred for effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years’ related experience in quantity surveying
• MHKIS (QS) professional qualification is a must
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua

Responsibilities

• Assist project team to provide professional quantity surveying services for cost monitoring, cost control, tendering, procurement, and contract administration in compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Conduct pre-contract cost control, focusing on preparation, calculation, and checking of cost estimates, cost plans, and detailed cost analyses
• Prepare and draft bidding/tender documents for procurement of consultancies, contractors, and suppliers
• Execute tender processes, perform detailed tender analyses, and prepare tender evaluation reports to ensure policy compliance
• Handle post-contract administration, verify site progress, check monthly payment valuations, and evaluate cost estimates for variation works
• Conduct detailed checking, verification, and settlement of final accounts with contractors and consultants
• Assemble, collate and administer project cost data and assist preparation of annual budget
