Qualifications

• Experience in an SFC-licensed corporation (Types 1, 4, 9 preferred).
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements and SFC rules.
• Ability to translate complex regulation into actionable advice.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience or knowledge with MAS regulatory requirements is a bonus
• Exposure to global ultra-high-net-worth clients and dynamic market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive Regulatory Excellence: Oversee and manage daily compliance functions for SFC-licensed activities, ensuring best-in-class standards.
• Provide Practical Advice: Deliver commercially minded, solution-oriented compliance guidance to internal business units and senior leadership.
• Lead KYC/AML: Manage onboarding processes for HNW and institutional clients, balancing seamless client experience with robust compliance.
• Monitor Regulatory Updates: Track SFC circulars, regulatory developments, and market trends, updating internal policies swiftly.
• Conduct Risk Reviews: Perform compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and thematic reviews to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage External Relationships: Serve as the key point of contact for the SFC, auditors, and legal counsel.
