Job summary

Gammon Construction Limited is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to report to the Divisional Commercial Manager and lead a team of quantity surveyors on commercial management for the project.

You will develop and implement project commercial strategies, provide contractual advice, supervise tender reviews, final accounts and claims, and monitor divisional cost forecasts and budgets. Strong English and Chinese communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent required; MHKIS/MRICS preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ commercial experience; supervisory experience 3+ years.
• Experience with Design and Build/ NEC contracts is highly desirable.
• GWP: strong business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quantity surveyors under the Divisional Commercial Manager.
• Develop and implement project commercial strategies and procedures.
• Supervise preparation of commercial reviews of tenders and sub-contracts.
• Supervise, approve and endorse final project accounts and claim submissions.
• Review divisional forecasts, budgets and cost reports.
