Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited, one of the leading contractors in Hong Kong, seeks a senior professional to manage contractual and commercial aspects of large-scale construction projects. You will lead the commercial team, oversee tender reviews, and ensure cash flow through interim payments and final accounts.

The role requires deep experience in contract administration, claims, and arbitration knowledge, with excellent English and strong team leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of relevant project experience, 8 years with main contractors in a leading commercial role.
• Experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/arbitration knowledge.
• Excellent command of English and strong prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of contractual and commercial issues for construction projects.
• Lead the commercial team and supervise pre-qualification submissions and tender reviews.
• Oversee project cash flow with timely interim payment submissions and final accounts.
• Develop and manage project commercial strategy and risk/opportunity management.
• Provide contractual, financial, and commercial guidance to the project team.
• Review, endorse, and manage subcontract tenders and related documentation.
• Assist in claim submissions and related contractual processes.
