Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the commercial management of multiple construction projects from tender to final account. You will mentor a team of 10 Quantity Surveyors and oversee cost control, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting.

You will review and negotiate contracts, variations, claims and final accounts, manage subcontract procurement and tenders, identify risks and liaise with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as MHKIS or MRICS is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years' relevant QS/Commercial experience with a HK main contractor.
• Proven experience managing commercial functions for new build, A&A and/or term maintenance contracts.
• Previous leadership experience managing a sizeable QS team.
• Strong knowledge of HK construction contracts, claims, variations and final account negotiations.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Chinese literacy is advantageous.
