Job summary

Avo Insurance in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior/Claims Officer (Personal Lines & Misc) to provide personal lines and medical claims services in a professional and effective manner.

You will resolve inquiries from internal and external parties and help optimize claims practices and operational workflows while analyzing data to support complaint handling and risk mitigation.

The role requires a university degree, strong English and Chinese communication, and ACII / ANZIIF Snr Associate is a plus.

• University degree required.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Customer service mindset with attention to detail.

Senior/Claims Officer (Personal Lines & Misc)

Here’s what you’ll be doing with us:

• Provide personal lines and medical claims services in a professional and effective manner
• Resolve/Assist in handling all inquiries from both internal and external parties
• Senior Officer: Play an active role in evaluating, optimizing and streamlining our claims practices and operational workflows
• Senior Officer: Analyze claims data to formulate proactive strategies for complaint handling and risk mitigation
• Officer: Participate in reviewing daily claims operational workflows and support efforts to streamline team practices
• Officer: Assist in compiling claims data and reporting to aid complaint tracking and operational review

And here’s whom we’re looking for:

• University graduate
• Preferable to have achieved ACII / ANZIIF (Snr Associate)
• Senior Officer: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in personal line claims handling
• Officer: 1 to 2 years of experience in personal line claims handling
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service mindset
• Well-organized and details oriented
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
