Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Insurance Company Limited is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to oversee home, property and liability claim handling in Hong Kong. You will examine documents, review professional reports, and issue settlement instructions.

The role includes supervising staff, reviewing reserves, and addressing inquiries from intermediaries and clients. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and professional qualifications (ANZIIF Senior Associate / ACII / LLB) with at least 6 years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• ANZIIF (Senior Associate) or ACII or LLB designation preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years in managerial level.
• Sound knowledge of insurance products.
• Strong leadership and responsibility.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle home, property and liability claims.
• Examine documents received from clients, claimants and service providers.
• Review reports from adjusters, solicitors and other professional bodies and give instructions.
• Assess claims and prepare documents for settlement approval.
• Supervise and provide training to subordinates.
• Regularly review outstanding claim files and update reserves.
• Answer inquiries from insurance intermediaries and clients.
