Marine Insurance Broker Trainee (Hong Kong)

The candidate will be responsible for investigating and assessing insurance claims on behalf of insurers. Their primary duties include evaluating the extent of loss or damage, determining claim validity based on policy terms, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and analyzing information to ensure fair and accurate claim handling.

Job Requirements

• Relevant qualifications with 4–7 years’ claims experience; team management experience in the relevant line(s) of business is preferred.
• Proven ability to handle complex/legal cases independently with strong judgment, negotiation, and analytical skills. Good analytical and judgmental skills.
• Deep familiarity with Mainland China insurance laws and statutory frameworks governing loss adjustment and claims settlement.
• Experience in claims process improvement.
• Effective team player with ability to collaborate with senior management and external partners.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Chinese.
