Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager to lead catering sales across two luxury properties: The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and W Hong Kong. You will drive revenue by identifying high-potential client segments, collaborating with F&B for menu creation and themed events, and ensuring seamless turnover between sales and operations.

The role requires a strong 5+ years’ hotel experience, excellent English, leadership and problem-solving skills, and a passion for service

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hotel industry.
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Good business acumen with market intelligence.
• Good leadership and problem solving skills.
• Be innovative and passionate to strive for service excellence.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive catering business by identifying potential clienteles for event planning solutions and services.
• Work with the Food and Beverage team to develop menus and themed events.
• Interact effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while delivering high level of service.
• Use negotiating skills and creative selling to close business and negotiate contracts.
• Manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
