Job summary

Hong Kong Life Insurance Limited, established in 2001, is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to lead and actively participate in business and system projects, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of system solutions.

The role collaborates with stakeholders across business units to investigate, address, and resolve user issues, drive requirements gathering, analyze processes, and develop detailed specifications aligned with business objectives. Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role.
• Experience in Life Insurance and IT is strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• FLMI qualification is an advantage.

Drive requirements gathering efforts, analyze current business processes, and develop detailed user requirement specifications aligned with business objectives.

Manage requirements throughout the entire project life cycle, prioritizing initiatives based on evolving business needs and constraints.

Develop comprehensive test plans and actively participate in quality assurance testing cycles.

Monitor project deliverables, conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create user manuals, and deliver end‑user training.

Assist project team members in the development and maintenance of project documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role; proven experience inLife InsuranceandITis strongly preferred.

Working knowledge ofSQLis highly desirable.

Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Outstanding planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.

FLMI qualification is an advantage

Must be fluent in Cantonese and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
