Job summary

ING Hong Kong is seeking a diligent back office professional to manage account maintenance, documentation review and routine settlement tasks across loans, remittance and treasury deals. The role supports local management and regulator reporting and participates in periodic drills.

You will handle daily data reviews, liaise with front office and risk management, and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience in Operations settlement or back office.
• Experience with loan administration, remittance and customer service.
• Tertiary education in banking/finance preferred, strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer and account static data in local system.
• Review daily/monthly dormant account reports for approval.
• Manage account records and specimen signatures for clients.
• Participate in annual drills arranged by HKICL.
• Handle cheques from clients or internal departments.
• Prepare audit confirmations on balances, loans and FM outstanding.
• Prepare monthly dormant account reports and liaise with front office.
• Review account opening documents for onboarding and signatories changes.
• Circulate daily overdraft reports to front office and risk management.
• Check completeness of bank statements and distribute to front office.
• Arrange loan drawdown/rollover approvals and perform loan calls back.
• Validate client payment instructions and monitor remittance inbound.
• Seek front office approval for SWIFT discrepancies.
• Participate in annual BCP drill.
• Coordinate with Hub Processing Centre on daily transactions.
• Prepare monthly RMB, DPS and HKTR reports for local management/regulator.
• Handle general enquiries from internal/external parties.
