Job summary

FWD Group in Hong Kong seeks a hands-on BI Specialist to design, develop and deliver data models for APAC. You will collect data, analyze patterns, and create interactive dashboards to support business decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, translate business requirements into technical specs, implement data governance, and train business users in self-service analytics. Proficiency with Databrick AI/BI, Power BI or QlikView is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 3+ years proven experience as a BI Specialist.
• Proficiency in BI tools: Databrick AI/BI, Power BI, QlikView.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing/ETL knowledge.
• Good data visualization best practices and design sense.
• Analytical problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to identify insights.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using BI tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and ETL specs.
• Translate business requirements into technical data models and governance.
• Provide training and support for self-service analytics to users.
