Job summary

New World Development Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Senior BI Leader to define analytics strategy and drive data-driven decision making across the business.

You will lead dashboards, data models, KPI definitions, and analytics initiatives spanning retail, shopping malls, and loyalty programs, while ensuring data quality and governance. English and Cantonese fluency is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Tableau or other BI tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data mart development is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive BI and analytics strategies to support business growth and data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, business requirements, and analytics solutions.
• Lead the development of dashboards, reports, and data models to generate actionable insights.
• Analyze mall performance, CRM, marketing campaigns, and digital engagement to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Apply statistical analysis and predictive modelling to support business optimization and revenue growth.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integration across multiple data sources.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and develop the analytics team and handle ad hoc analysis requests.
