Job summary

Kinly in Hong Kong is seeking an AV Event Manager to lead on-site event services, manage a technical team, and maintain strong client relations. The role requires deep AV/VC knowledge and bilingual Cantonese-English communication, with a 40-hour week and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in events as a manager.
• Strong AV/VC equipment knowledge (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Cisco, Zoom).
• Confident communicator with client-facing skills.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Client management: Build and maintain client relationships; advise on best practice, risks, and procedures.
• Direct management of Events Technicians; coordinate with SDM for resource allocation.
• Fault reporting: ensure issues are reported and escalated.
• On-site event delivery: manage live events across sites and staff rota.
• Develop service procedures; keep documentation up to date for onsite teams.
• Report on SLA performance, team metrics and delivery quality.
• Attend pre-event planning meetings; schedule resources and briefing.
• Communicate technical requirements to clients and select suitable solutions.
• Oversee live broadcast projects and overall on-site event management.
• Post-event wrap-up and debrief to identify incidents and improvements.
