Job summary

Kinly in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior AV Event Technician – L2 to provide AV and VC setup and support across all meeting rooms. You will work with the AVNOC team to troubleshoot faults, perform L1/L2 incident management and assist project managers in delivering assignments.

This role involves proactive health checks, software upgrades, and assisting with training of new starters and freelancers. Fluent Cantonese and English are required, and shifts are 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm, Monday to Friday,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar AV/VC role.
• Strong capability with a broad variety of AV & VC systems.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV and VC set-up and technical support across all meeting rooms.
• Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting.
• L1/L2 incident management.
• Support Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects.
• Assist AVNOC with delivery of a due diligence program providing reporting on room conditions and recommending upgrades and improvements.
• Carry out proactive health checks in accordance with SOP.
• Service continuity support including preparation for restoration of service from Power Downs, Black Building Exercises and other planned or unplanned Business Continuity Management activities.
• Assist with software upgrades.
• Assist with support for video/audio conferencing problems - Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify.
• Ensure all multi-media / presentation rooms are maintained in good working order.
• Presentation / multi-media meeting room support, including duration support.
• Assist, where possible, with IT-related enquiries during supports. Escalate issues if required.
• Advise clients on best practice
• Assist with training of new starters and freelancers
