Job summary

HarbourVest Partners in Hong Kong leads the private wealth fundraising efforts in Greater China, focusing on building a strong distribution network and branding in private markets. The role offers exposure to a fast-growing area with entrepreneurial incentives and cross-border collaboration across the firm.

You will contribute to sustainable fundraising outcomes, manage client engagements, and work closely with senior leaders to drive regional growth and market penetration.

Qualifications

• Experience fundraising for private markets or private wealth sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Organized with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Fast learner with interest in private market investing.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the fundraising cycle from client meetings to roadshows and launch events.
• Prepare presentation materials, follow-up communications and meeting summaries.
• Be the first line of defense for investor queries and due diligence requests.
• Develop relationships with key distributors and improve future partnerships.
• Lead local market research and competitor analysis to identify priorities.
• Ensure fundraising pipelines and internal tracking are up to date.
• Support product development initiatives and participate in prospecting research.
• And other responsibilities as required.
