Job summary

HarbourVest is seeking a proactive fundraising professional to join the Global Private Wealth team in Hong Kong. You will support the fundraising cycle from meetings and roadshows to closing investor commitments while collaborating with global teams.

The role emphasizes high-quality client engagement, cross-border coordination and a deep understanding of private markets. Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years in private markets or capital markets sales, fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin,

Qualifications

• Experience fundraising for private markets/ private wealth investors and gatekeepers.
• Strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin, written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for client-facing roles.
• Willingness to progress CFA/CAIA if required.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising cycle with meetings, roadshows and events.
• Prepare client materials, summaries and follow-up communications.
• Be the first line of inquiry for investor questions and DD requests.
• Develop relationships with distributors and expand partnerships.
• Lead local market research and competitive analysis to boost regional penetration.
• Maintain fundraising pipelines and internal communications.
