Bupa Hong Kong is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive design, development, and lifecycle support for enterprise applications. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to deliver on time, ensuring quality and security standards.

You will mentor a small team, guide solution design, manage incidents, and push automation, DevOps, and AI-enabled initiatives to improve reliability and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application development, system integration, and production support.
• 2+ years leading small teams or projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud services.
• Hands-on with Azure or GCP and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, Node.js, and modern JS frameworks.
• English and Chinese language skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a small onshore/offshore engineering team.
• Participate in solution design, development, and operations.
• Resolve incidents and performance issues to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and tech teams.
• Drive automation and DevOps to improve reliability.
• Evaluate AI-enabled solutions to enhance processes.
• Collaborate with platform engineers for secure cloud resources.
• Provide progress updates to Application and Project Managers.
• Lead assessments for enhancements and projects.
• Design and support integrations via APIs and cloud services.
• Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
