Job summary

HKT seeks an experienced Senior AI/ML Engineering Leader to design and deliver end-to-end AI solutions for enterprise clients in Hong Kong. You will drive multi-disciplinary teams across product management, business analysis, UI/UX, and frontend engineering.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in AI leadership, and hands-on use of modern AI frameworks, prompt engineering, and robust CI/CD for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML solutions and 2+ years in a senior technical leadership role.
• Experience in Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) capacity, wearing PM/BA/Tech Lead hats to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Proficiency in Vibe Coding tools and modern web technologies (React, Next.js, Python, Node.js).
• Deep understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and AI pipelines; experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or fine-tuning; CI/CD for AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of comprehensive AI/automation solutions from concept to production.
• Act as the primary technical lead on client engagements, coordinating PM, BA, UI/UX, and Frontend teams.
• Own the full lifecycle of solution delivery: requirements, architecture, development, testing, and post-deployment optimization.
• Develop and optimize internal AI toolkits and CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
• Define and advance advanced prompt engineering and AI-agent methodologies to deliver MVPs/PoCs rapidly.
