Job summary

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology invites applications for a role to lead initiatives to enhance the alumni database, transform data into actionable insights, and drive data‑driven engagement across the University.

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Development and Alumni), the appointee will collaborate with schools, departments, and IT, oversee data collection improvements, system integration, and contribute to high‑level alumni programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong data management, communication, and analytical skills are required.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Putonghua) is required.
• Experience in stakeholder data intelligence strategies and leading IT/data projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with key university stakeholders to enhance and optimize the alumni database.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to research, evaluate, and implement technologies for alumni data management and engagement measurement.
• Lead IT projects to optimize data collection and ensure system integration, data integrity, and accessibility.
• Support high‑level alumni engagement initiatives of the Development and Alumni Office.
