Coordinator / Manager, Alumni Relations

Are you a visionary community builder ready to lead our alumni outreach strategy?

The School is looking for a dynamic, highly articulate, and self-driven individual responsible for actively engaging our diverse alumni network. This role is vital in advancing our vision: building a globally connected alumni community rooted in pride and excellence, where every alumnus is a valued partner in our shared success.

This role will report to the Vice-Principal of Administration and Finance and work closely with the Alumni Association. The individual will coordinate a wide range of alumni events and communications. We seek a proactive professional who thrives on self-initiative and demonstrates strict timeliness of follow-up when organizing outreach programs or collaborating with internal teams, including the Parent Teacher Association, University Counselling, and Corporate Communications.

Overall, the Coordinator / Manager will play a key role in fostering lifelong connections, enhancing the school’s visibility, and contributing to the success of growing our alumni community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Alumni Outreach Strategist:Conceptualize dynamic outreach opportunities and deliver tangible results through exceptional execution. Explore multi-channel engagement tactics ranging from high-impact networking events and mentorship programs to targeted digital campaigns and translating those ideas into a thriving, active community.

1. Event Planning & Management: Proactively plan and execute events. Approximately 10 social and sports events per year, 3 educational and career talks annually, and yearly homecomings. Take the initiative to support school’s milestone events.

1. Database & Resources: Effectively maintain alumni database and develop relevant career resources/workshops. Organize school-based initiatives involving alumni, including the yearly Mentorship and Internship Programme designed to connect current students with alumni.

1. Fundraising Support: Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to solicit alumni financial support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree holder or higher in marketing, communications, business administration, public relations, or relevant disciplines.

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in alumni relations, public relations or related fields from education sector. Familiarity with international or independent school environments a plus.

• Languages: Strong command of verbal and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin).

• Tech‑savvy: Creative Thinker, skillful content creation.

• Other Skillsets: A good team player with strong interpersonal skills, yet able to work independently, with strict timeliness in follow-up actions.
