Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Hong Kong to join our analytics team. The role focuses on reinsurance related analysis, catastrophe modelling, and pricing, supporting clients with risk and capital decisions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in actuarial science or related fields and at least two years' experience in insurance or reinsurance, with strong modelling and stakeholder communication skills. The position offers growth within a global firm.

Qualifications

Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry.
Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced model knowledge.
Understanding of reinsurance structures and modelling integration.
Ability to independently engage internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, pricing, etc.).
Assist clients in understanding exposure to insurance risk and determining optimal reinsurance arrangements.
Present analysis reports, interpret catastrophe modelling results and provide recommendations.
Conduct client training sessions to introduce analytics materials.
