Job summary

Aon Life Solutions in Hong Kong seeks a Consultant to build insurance liability models, support asset and ALM projections, and expand PathWise functionality. You will work with HK and SG regulators, contribute to client engagements, and help deliver actuarial analyses and hedging solutions.

The role requires 1–5 years in life insurance valuation/hedging, solid knowledge of derivatives, and strong communication skills for team and client interactions.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years in the life insurance valuation/pricing/hedging space with guarantees.
• Knowledge of HK/Singapore reserves and capital requirements for life insurance.
• Understanding of financial assets including derivatives.
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations.
• Object-oriented programming concepts; Python preferred.
• Actuarial qualifications preferred; strong communication needed.

Responsibilities

• Create insurance liability models for HK and SG based on local regs and IFRS17.
• Develop and maintain financial asset and ALM models for balance sheets.
• Develop economic scenario generators for asset/liability valuation.
• Support PathWise enhancements and client-driven model development.
• Provide onboarding training and develop training materials for PathWise.
• Participate in client consultations and maintain strong relationships.
