Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry.
• Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced model knowledge.

• Ability to independently engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, pricing, etc.).
• Assist clients in understanding exposure to insurance risk and determining optimal reinsurance arrangements.
• Present analysis reports, interpret catastrophe modelling results and provide recommendations.
• Conduct client training sessions to introduce analytics materials.

What the day will look like

• Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing etc.)
• Assisting clients in understanding their exposure to insurance risk and determining the optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting their risk, return and capital requirements
• Present analysis report, interpret catastrophe modelling results and making subsequent reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients
• Perform client training sessions to introduce analytics related materials

Skills and experience that will lead to success
