Job summary

Aon in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Analyst, Analytics Actuarial to join our team.

This role focuses on reinsurance analytics and risk modelling, with responsibilities spanning catastrophe modelling, client risk analysis and analytics education.

We welcome candidates with a degree in actuarial science or related fields and at least two years’ experience in insurance or reinsurance, along with strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry.
• Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced level of model knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing etc.)
• Assisting clients in understanding their exposure to insurance risk and determining the optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting their risk, return and capital requirements
• Present analysis report, interpret catastrophe modelling results and making subsequent reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients
• Perform client training sessions to introduce analytics related materials

What The Day Will Look Like
