Job summary

Aon Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Analytics Actuarial team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on reinsurance related analysis, catastrophe modelling, and client advisory services.

You will assist clients in understanding exposure, present findings and provide analytics training to internal and external stakeholders. A degree in actuarial science and 2+ years in insurance/reinsurance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry.
• Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced model knowledge.
• Understanding of reinsurance structures and implementation within modelling frameworks.
• Able to independently deal with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing etc.).
• Assisting clients in understanding their exposure to insurance risk and determining optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting risk, return and capital requirements.
• Present analysis reports, interpret catastrophe modelling results and provide reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients.
• Perform client training sessions to introduce analytics materials.

What the day will look like
