Aon is currently recruiting an Analyst, Analytics Actuarial to join our team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on reinsurance-related analytics, catastrophe modelling, and pricing to support clients in managing risk and capital needs.

We seek a degree holder in actuarial science or related fields with at least two years' experience in insurance or reinsurance, plus strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Join a collaborative team in a leading global professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry.
• Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced level of model knowledge.
• An understanding of the various reinsurance structures to manage risk and implementation within the modelling framework.
• Able to independently deal with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing etc.)
• Assisting clients in understanding their exposure to insurance risk and determining the optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting their risk, return and capital requirements
• Present analysis report, interpret catastrophe modelling results and making subsequent reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients
• Perform client training sessions to introduce analytics related materials
