Job summary

Hantec Securities Co., Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Accounting Officer/Accounting Officer to handle data input, general accounting duties and financial analysis. You will assist with month-end closing for the Company and affiliates, and ensure FRR and SFO compliance in daily capital calculations.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting or above, with HKICPA/ACCA student membership preferred and at least 2 years of experience in a securities firm. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma in Accounting or above
• Student member of HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting experience in securities firm
• Familiar with FRR and SFO
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing
• Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform data input and general accounting duties
• Assist month-end closing for the Company and affiliates
• Assist to calculate FRR daily liquid capital in compliance with SFO and FRR requirements
• Assist in reimbursement and various accounts payable functions
• Ensure daily operation workflows are implemented and executed accurately and timely
• Assist in year-end audit process, liaising with auditors
• Handle ad hoc projects as required

SENIOR ACCOUNTING OFFICER/ ACCOUNTING OFFICER

Perform data input, general accounting duties, financial analysis and other related duties

Assist to perform month-end closing for the Company and other affiliated companies

Assist to prepare FRR return to SFC and calculate daily liquid capital in compliance with SFO and FRR requirements

Assist in reimbursement/various accounts payable functions

Assist to ensure the daily operation work-flows are implemented and executed in an accurate and timely manner

Assist in handling year-end audit process including liaising with auditor

Handle other ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting or above

Student member of HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred

Minimum 2 years’ relevant solid accounting experience in securities firm is preferred

Familiar with FRR and SFO

Proficient in MS office and Chinese Word Processing

Familiar with Oracle system is an advantage

Self-motivated, responsible, hardworking, willing to work under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines and a fast learner with positive thinking

Immediate availability is preferred

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Accounting Officer
