Job summary

POADmedia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage routine accounting functions, including AP, AR and expense reimbursements.

You will prepare vendor and landlord payments, assist with month-end closing and provide analysis for management accounts, with coordination of audits and tax matters. Applicants should have 4–5 years’ experience across commercial and audit fields, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Chinese. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA/ACCA advantageous.
• Minimum 4–5 years in both commercial and audit fields.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of FlexAccount is a definite advantage.
• HKFRS 16 knowledge is advantageous for Accountant level.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and receivable and general expense reimbursements.
• Prepare vendor and landlord payments with proper compliance.
• Assist in month-end closing and management accounts with schedules.
• Prepare periodic audit statements/reports for vendors.
• Liaise with internal/external parties on audit, tax and financial matters.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks/reports as assigned.
