Job summary

Global InsuranceCompany HK subsidiary invites a Senior Accountant, Group Reporting to join our finance team. You will manage consolidated financial statements, IFRS/Pillar III reporting, and KPI schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will prepare presentations for senior management and head office, support internal controls, and contribute to IFRS17/IFRS9 projects with cross-functional collaboration. English and Chinese fluency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience, preferably in finance function or insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with fluent English and Chinese.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, and SAP.
• Knowledge of AI tools, Alteryx, Power BI for data analysis and reporting is a strong plus.
• Knowledge in IFRS, including IFRS 17 - Insurance contract and IFRS 9 - Financial Instruments is preferred.
• Experience/knowledge in Life or General Insurance or Solvency II Pillar III reporting would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the submission of actual, budgets and forecasts for consolidated financial statements, KPI and other financial related schedules in accordance with the Group requirement and timetable.
• Participate in the IFRS17 closing process including data validation, reconciliation and investment reporting.
• Manage the CFO sign-off process for both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III reporting.
• Support internal financial control activities and external annual and interim audit review.
• Streamline the preparation process of both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III reporting.
• Participate in ad hoc special projects and provide technical accounting support as required.
