Job summary

LG H&H HK Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and analysis. You will prepare statements, build forecasting models, and ensure RBC data submissions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of financial or auditing experience in the life insurance industry.
• Hands-on HKFRS 17 accounting production and RBC framework knowledge.
• Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA/ACCA/CPA) mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• High integrity, attention to detail and strong teamwork under pressure.

Job description

1. Prepare all financial statements in a timely and accurate manner;

2. Conduct multi-dimensional financial data analysis and produce high-quality financial analysis reports to support operational decision-making;

3. Develop and optimize financial forecasting models, and carry out profit management of financial statements through data analysis;

4. Collaborate with other teams to compile and submit required financial and capital adequacy data under the Hong Kong Risk-Based Capital (RBC) regime;

5. Maintain the solvency management system, including data updates and process optimization, to ensure system stability and data accuracy;

6. Coordinate and manage external and internal audits, tax audits, ensuring timely audit deliverables and resolution of any accounting and tax issues;

7. Complete other financial-related tasks and ad hoc assignments as directed by superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Financial or a related discipline;

2. Experience: Preferred at least 5 years of financial or auditing experience in the life insurance industry, with a solid understanding of Hong Kong's insurance regulatory environment and financial operations;

3. Professional Competence: Proven hands-on experience in managing HKFRS 17 accounting production, and a solid operational understanding of financial reporting under the Hong Kong Risk-Based Capital (RBC) framework;

4. Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification is mandatory (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)；

5. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese；

6. Overall Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professional ethics; strong cross-departmental collaboration and stress management skills; able to quickly integrate into a team and work independently.
