AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a finance professional to manage the analysis of financial performances and financial positions under IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III for both Life and General Insurance.

You will prepare presentation materials for performances and positions and present to senior management and Head Office, oversee actuals, budgets and forecasts submissions, and support IFRS17 closing, data validation and investment reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years in finance, preferably in insurance
• Big 4 experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with fluent English and Chinese
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Independent and self-motivated
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
• Knowledge of AI tools, Alteryx, Power BI for data analysis
• IFRS knowledge including IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 preferred
• Experience in Life/General Insurance or Solvency II Pillar III is an advantage

• Manage CFO sign-off for IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III reporting
• Support internal controls and external audit reviews
• Streamline reporting processes for IFRS and Pillar III
• Take part in ad hoc projects and provide technical accounting support

Manage the analysis of financial performances and financial positions under IFRS / Solvency II Pillar III basis for both Life & General Insurance

Prepare presentation materials for financial performances and financial positions and present to senior management and Head Office

Manage the submission of actual, budgets and forecasts for consolidated financial statements, KPI and other financial related schedules in accordance with the Group requirement and timetable

Participate in the IFRS17 closing process including data validation, reconciliation and investment reporting

Manage the CFO sign-off process for both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III reporting

Support internal financial control activities and external annual and interim audit review

Streamline the reporting preparation process of both IFRS and Solvency II Pillar III reporting

Participate in ad hoc special projects and provide technical accounting support as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of working experience, preferably in finance function or insurance industry
• Advantage if some of the experience gained from Big 4
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with fluent English and Chinese
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Ability to adapt quickly, Independent, Self-motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, and SAP
• Knowledge of AI tools, Alteryx, Power BI for data analysis and reporting is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge in IFRS, including IFRS 17 - Insurance contract and IFRS 9 - Financial Instruments is preferred
• Experience/knowledge in Life or General Insurance or Solvency II Pillar III reporting would be an advantage
