Job summary

Nova Partners Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Officer to support reporting, system projects and data analysis within a finance team for a leading insurer. The role focuses on reporting, system upgrades, and data checks to drive accuracy.

You will work on IFRS 17 changes, month-end close, and use Excel and Power BI to review large datasets, with opportunities to contribute to automation and process improvements in a stable, five-day-week environment at Whampoa Garden, Kowloon City

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related field.
• Around 3+ years in finance reporting, analysis, month-end or system/project support.
• Insurance experience is a plus, not a must.
• CPA/HKICPA/ACCA preferred but not required; LCCI holders welcome.

Location: Hong Kong | Full-time, Perm role

A renowned life insurer is looking for a Finance team member to support reporting, system projects and data analysis.

What you will do

Support finance system upgrades and testing (including SAP / UAT)

Help with month-end close, reconciliations and reporting

Assist IFRS 17 / reporting change tracking and data checks

Analyse finance data and prepare management reports

Use Excel and Power BI (or similar tools) to review large datasets

Support automation and process improvement projects

Who we are looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related field

Around 3+ years in finance reporting, analysis, month-end or system/project support

Insurance experience is a plus, not a must

Solid Excel; Power BI / data tools / SAP experience is an advantage

CPA (HKICPA / ACCA / CPA Aus) preferred but not required, LCCI holders are welcome as well
