Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support finance operations in Hong Kong. The role covers full set of accounts, month-end close, reporting, budgeting and cash flow management within a dynamic FMCG environment.

Strong Excel and ERP skills, plus English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluency, are essential. The successful candidate will work closely with external auditors, tax advisors and bankers, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and robust internal

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably FMCG/retail/trading/multinational
• Solid experience in handling full set of accounts and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, able to work independently
• Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Job Description

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing activities


• Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and variance explanations


• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions


• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management


• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and bankers


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures


• Support finance‑related projects, process improvements, and system enhancement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines


• Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred


• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably gained from FMCG, retail, trading, or multinational companies


• Solid experience in handling full set of accounts and financial reporting
