Job summary

Chiron Healthcare Group Limited is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor in Hong Kong. The role involves preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements, schedules for internal reporting, and supervising AR, AP, and payroll processes.

You will also oversee a small accounting team, ensure accuracy of junior staff work, and mentor on processes and system use. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, solid

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (including HKFRS) and month-end close procedures.
• Strong skills in reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss statements).
• Prepare and review schedules and support materials for financial statements and internal reporting.
• Supervise accounts receivable (AR), patient billing accuracy, and insurance claim reimbursements.
• Manage vendor payments (accounts payable) and oversee payroll processing.
• Supervise accounting team members, including: review of junior team members’ work for accuracy and completeness; coaching/mentoring on accounting processes and system usage; assigning day-to-day tasks according to priorities and deadlines.
• Perform and review monthly bank, vendor and insurance claim reconciliations.
• Assist with external audits by organizing financial documents and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with system/process improvements.
• Other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
