Job summary

Pax Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an Accountant to manage full-set accounting, including AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing.

You will handle cash flow, bank reconciliations, intercompany settlements, and assist with audits and tax filings. Strong English and Chinese communication, including Cantonese and Mandarin, is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Capable of handling full sets of accounts independently.
• Hands-on experience in cash management, AP, payments, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, English).

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting, including AR, AP, GL and month-end closing.
• Manage daily cash flow, payment schedules and staff reimbursements.
• Handle banking matters, including remittance and time deposits.
• Prepare reconciliations for bank, customer, supplier and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare management accounts, schedules and variance analysis.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents, and support annual audits and tax filings.
• Handle other accounting duties and ad hoc assignments.

Job description

Handle full-set accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and month-end closing.

Manage daily cash flow, prepare payment schedules, and process payments and staff reimbursements in accordance with company policies.

Handle banking matters, including bank account administration, remittances and time deposits.

Prepare bank, customer, supplier and intercompany reconciliations.

Prepare management accounts, accounting schedules and relevant variance analysis.

Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.

Liaise with auditors and tax agents, and support annual audits and tax filings.

Handle other accounting duties and ad hoc assignments.

About you

Hold a diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, capable of handling full sets of accounts independently.

Hands-on experience in cash management, accounts payable, payment processing and bank reconciliation.

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.

Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; able to communicate in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Meticulous, responsible and well-organised with strong communication skills, able to deliver tasks on schedule.
