Global Sports Jobs Limited seeks a Security Officer to uphold safety across the Club’s premises within the SIIS Division. You will manage access, crowd control, patrolling, and monitor security systems while supporting sampling operations, firefighting, and first aid during events.

The role requires vigilance at race meetings and other Club events, with availability for day and night shifts including Sundays and holidays, and a valid HK Security Personnel Permit (Category B).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Basic knowledge of operating security systems.
• Basic report writing skills.
• Availability to work day and night shifts, including Sundays and holidays.
• Valid Security Personnel Permit with Category Code B.

Responsabilités

• Participate in sampling operations for horses and humans.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and provide related incident information.

About the Role

The role is responsible for carrying out security duties across the Club’s premises, including access control, crowd control, patrolling, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents. It sits within the Security, Integrity and Information Security (SIIS) Division, which preserves integrity by combatting criminality and corruption risks that can threaten horse racing, betting, and membership. The role also supports sampling operations, firefighting, first aid, and security coverage during race meetings and other Club events. The division comprises Integrity & Financial Crime Risk, Racing Security & Integrity Assurance, Corporate Security, Enterprise Risk Management, and Information Security Risk & Assurance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out access control, crowd control and patrolling of the Club’s premises.


• Monitor security systems at the Security Control Room / Centre, including but not limited to CCTV and alarm systems.


• Participate in sampling operations for horses and humans.
