Zusammenfassung

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join its Cyber Security Department. You will drive the Cyber Security Programme in line with strategy, support architecture initiatives, and ensure secure design and testing across platforms in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Candidates should have 5–8 years in cybersecurity, strong endpoint and cloud security knowledge, and hands-on experience with EDR/SIEM.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical IT roles, specifically in cybersecurity and endpoint control.
• Solid understanding of network, system, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise solutions deployment and security integrations.
• Knowledge of endpoint security technologies, threat insights, containment, investigation, and remediation.

About the Role

The role sits within the Cyber Security Department, which acts as the first line of defence to safeguard information assets, IT systems, networks, and cloud platforms while ensuring the resilience and continuity of critical operations. The department implements strong risk governance frameworks and cybersecurity standards, protects the Club against emerging threats, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and China. Its core responsibilities include identifying and addressing vulnerabilities, protecting sensitive information, ensuring rapid incident response, overseeing access management, and promoting Club-wide cybersecurity awareness. The role drives execution of the Cyber Security Programme in alignment with the Cyber Security Strategy and supports programme management, security architecture, secure design, testing, and documentation activities. It works with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate security controls into processes and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience & Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical IT roles, specifically in cybersecurity and endpoint control.
• Solid understanding of network, system, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise solution deployment, including Endpoint Detection and Response systems and Application Control, and integration with a variety of security solutions across platforms (e.g. SIEM/SOAR).
• Knowledge of endpoint security technologies, principles, and practices, including threat insights, containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Familiarity with EDR telemetries in Windows and Linux.
• Ability to build automation and scripting language.
• Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OCSP, GIAC, or Microsoft certification (Azure/Security) are preferred.
