Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking a capable Operations professional to support the Application and Drawdown processing, loan documentation, and related tasks. The role involves accurate document preparation, data input, and information searches to ensure timely drawdown and disbursement for credit facilities.

The successful candidate will handle daily processing, meet turnaround targets, maintain tracking records, and assist with enquiries.

Qualifications

Degree holder, or post-secondary education with 5 years working experience; checker role would be a plus.
Good knowledge and experience of loan operations especially in loan redemption.
Good knowledge of Corporate Loan Product.
Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
Good senses of risk control and management.
Self-motivated with good analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
Good team player, supportive and flexible to take up departmental tasks.
Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

To provide accurate and timely documents preparation, loan documents checking, data input, Credit Information searching, loan drawdown and disbursement
To achieve and work adherence to specified performance standards in turnaround time
To perform daily processing jobs of Application & Drawdown Processing including verify duly approval of facility applications against Bank’s DOA, prepare documents and handle search & enquiry
To maintain status tracking records for all related documentation & loan processing
To perform general duties, such as letter mailing, document filing, copying & typing and perform other duties as assigned.
To answer general enquiries in relating to Application & Drawdown Processing from internal and external parties
To assist supervisors to provide the training to new staff
To understand the bank policies on data protection, risk & security control and regulatory compliance in order to comply requirements; and escape problem / exception to supervisor or manager immediatelyTo support in ad-hoc project and assist to conduct user acceptance testing & live verification as well as live verification on various systems enhancements so as to have better customer experience, increase productivity and control effectiveness in daily operations
To timely escape issue or incident to supervisor
To provide cross-team support to the Collateral Safekeeping team for handling document-related tasks, including the in/out process and BAU activities.
