Job summary

Airwallex in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced SDR Manager to lead a high-performing outbound sales team. Based in our HK office, you will own hiring, onboarding, ramp plans, and daily rhythms while coaching the team to generate and qualify leads that feed the Hong Kong SME/startup sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales or business development with at least 3 years in direct managerial roles leading SDR/outbound teams.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS or financial services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day SDR operating rhythm including hiring, onboarding, ramp plans and 1:1s.
• Monitor pipeline quality, conversion metrics and ensure SDRs have tools and training to meet targets.
• Lead, coach and scale a team of SDRs through multi-channel outreach and structured customer journeys.
• Drive performance to move high-quality leads to the sales team and secure qualified meetings.
• Train SDRs on building prospect relationships and seamless hand-offs to the sales team.
• Oversee CRM activity, contact management and pipeline accuracy for accurate forecasting.
• Develop and test outreach methods, cadences and best practices to improve conversions.
• Document operating best practices as the Hong Kong SDR team grows.
• Collaborate with Marketing to improve targeting and messaging; align with Account Executives on handoffs and SLAs.
