Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Hong Kong to generate and qualify leads for the Hong Kong SME/Start Up sales pipeline. You will engage with prospects to uncover needs, identify high-value opportunities, and manage early sales funnel activities.

You will deliver value in complex scenarios, contribute to demand generation, and help articulate Airwallex’s value proposition while building essential tools and assets.

Qualifications

• Track record of top performance or prior success in an SDR-related role.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in technology and/or financial services.
• Self-starter who can operate in a hyper growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with potential customers via email outreach or cold calls.
• Move quality leads through the funnel and arrange meetings with sales.
• Qualify needs with effective questioning and hand off to sales.
• Update CRM with activity and contact information for reporting.
• Test outreach strategies to improve result and scale
• Help build best practices as the team grows
• Provide feedback to Marketing on targeting and messaging
• Collaborate with the Account Executive on handover and first call
