Job summary

Gammon Construction Ltd is seeking a Site & Safety Supervisor to ensure works on site are performed safely and in line with in-house and statutory safety requirements. You will support the Safety Officer in implementing the HS&E Management System and provide first aid with part-time First Aiders.

The role requires a Diploma in OSH or CSC Supervisor certification, at least 1 year of safety experience on building projects, and site supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or cert in safety required.
• Minimum 1 year safety experience in building projects.
• Site supervision experience essential.
• Good understanding of construction processes.
• First Aider preferred.
• Night work required.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-site works are carried out safely and compliant with in-house safety requirements and statutory authorities.
• Assist Safety Officer in implementing the HS&E Management System.
• Render first aid with assistance of part-time First Aiders.
• Coordinate safety activities and liaise with site team.
• Work location at Central, HK.

Job description

You will be responsible for ensuring the works on site are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with in-house safety requirements and that of the statutory authorities. You will assist the Safety Officer in implementing the HS&E Management System and rendering first aid treatment for the project with the assistance of the part-time First Aiders.

Requirements:

Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA preferred);

At least 1 years' relevant safety experience in Building projects;

Site supervision experience is essential;

Good understanding in the construction processes;

First Aider preferred;

Excellent coordination, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential;

Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word & Excel);

Working at night is required.
